Portwell Inc. announces the WADE-1120, a compact fan-less barebones system with a unique tool-free design that allows the integrator or field service engineer to release the top cover quickly and easily.
Designed with a built-in Mini-ITX-based embedded system board (ESB), the WADE-1120 is the perfect system solution for any embedded application that operates in harsh environment. It integrates seamlessly with Portwell cost-effective WADE-8041, Intel® ULV Celeron® M-based (852GM chipset) or WADE-8144, Intel® Pentium® M-based (915GM chipset) Mini-ITX ESB, or a similar Mini-ITX ESB.
The WADE-1120 node chassis supports VGA, two LAN, three COM and four USB ports in a compact 283 mm x 200 mm x 44 mm (11.1" x 7.9" x 1.75") form factor that weights about 2-2.5 kg (4.41-5.51 lbs).
Portwell WADE-8041 is a cost-effective Mini-ITX ESB for applications that need low power consumption. Built with the 600MHz ULV Intel® Celeron® M processor, the WADE-8041 generates the computing power necessary to support a host of embedded applications. Its dual video feature also enables the use of two displays simultaneously; its four COM and six USB ports provide an immediate interface to a wide range of peripherals.
Available now, Portwell WADE-1120 fan-less system with WADE-8041 Mini-ITX ESB is the ideal solution for applications in medical equipment, digital signage, automated test equipment, kiosks and network appliances.
