Low Power Firewall Plattform: Teak-3011 and Teak-3258

IPC2U presents two new low power network security appliances for the use as firewall/router or ID System. The Teak 3011 and Teak 3258 feature a reliable and power saving AMD Geode-LX800 plattform with 500MHz clock rate. The systems are available in a desktop (Teak-3011) as well as in a 1U rack version (teak-3258) and offer four Intel 82551ER based 10/100MBit LAN ports. One of the details that distinguishes Teak- 3011/3258 from most competitors is that two ports are equipped with a Lan by-pass function as well as the fact that it uses intel NICs instead of the widespread Realtek and VIA chipsets. The integrated security engine supports 128-Bit AES in hardware and features a reliable random number generator. This ensures superior performance as a VPN-Router with much higher throughput than you would expect from the CPUs clock rate.
