New PROFI-8155 (PROFIBUS Remote I/O Unit with one Expansion Slot)

PROFIBUS is an open, digital communication system with a wide range of applications, particularly in the fields of factory automation and process automation. PROFIBUS DP is suitable for both fast, time-critical applications and complex communication tasks. The PROFI-8155 is one of PROFIBUS DP series products produced by ICP DAS. It provides DP-V0 protocol for fast data exchange cyclically and DP-V1 for immediate system monitor acyclically with DP-Masters, it plays the role of slave device with remote I/O functionality in PROFIBUS network. The PROFI-8155 not only provides 4KV ESD protection contacting for all terminals at front-panel but also reduces the volume efficiently. By applying the PROFI-8155, users can easily establish a PROFIBUS DP network with other DP-Masters. We provide many kinds of i-8K and i-87K modules that include Digital Input/Output, Analog Input/Output and Counter/Frequency. In addition, the PWM module will be included in the future. If users need hot-swap function, we also provide it with i-87K high profile series.
