EBC 353 and EBC 354 - compact 3.5" mainboards for industry and digital signage!

IPC2U presents two compact and energy-saving 3.5“ industry mainboards which are based on the Intel Atom D2700 2.13 GHz CPU combined  with the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3650. This energy-saving processor consumes only 10W what is a very good value for the processors of this performance class.
However, the both boards EBC 353 and EBC 354 have common basis, they are primarly deveoped for different application areas.
The EBC 353 is designed for industry deployment e.g. automation and process control. On the contrary the EBC 354 is specialized on the commercial area such as Digital Signage and for deployment in hotels, retail, hospitality, banking and medical markets.
Both mainboards are equipped with 2x Gbit LAN, 3x RS232, 1x RS232/422/485, 2x SATA, 6x USB, 4-in/4-out GPIO, Mic-in, Speak out and thus well-suitable for applications with versatile profile. For extensions there are 1x Mini-PCIe and 1x PCI-104 slots at EBC 353 and 2x mini PCIe slots at EBC 354 onboard.
Also there different possibilites for connection of displays. With EBC 353 two interfaces of VGA, DVI-D and 18/24-bit LVDS can be chosen, with EBC 354 it can even chosen among VGA, DVI-D, 18/24-bit LVDS and HDMI. Optionally a dual 24/48-bit LVDS module can be upgraded.
