CT-457A- the new access control terminal!

The newly launched ACT-457A is an all-in-one access controller and proximity reader.  Built-in Microsoft Windows CE5.0 can be easily installed, set-up and programmed  without a separate on-site PC.

ACT-457A is equipped with  a large 5.7“ color touch display offering a 640x480 resolution. Therefore the system provides increased ease of data input and overall readability. Thus this elegant compact system  has the RFID reader built in, it can work with EM or Mifare Cards / Tags. This is perfectly suitable for access control market, typically residential accommodation, light commercial and small industrial applications.

RMI Alchemy™ technology enables users to play DVD quality video with low power consumption. The integrated MAE (Media Acceleration Engine) supports common digital video media including MPEG1, 2, 4, DivX, and WMV9, and delivers full D1 resolution without need for a DSP or specialized coding.

ACT-457A  provides perfect functionality by built-in 2W speakers and microphone for bi-direction voice communication or voice message, 300K pixel web-camera with low-light functions for real-time image/video access and capture or facial identification. The ACT-457A offers the unique opportunity for third-party hardware integration.

ACT terminal is protected by hard plastic with IP64 front panel protection. With anti-shock, anti-vibration shields and extended temperature -10ºC~55ºC the system can stand vandalism and is protected against extreme environmental conditions.

IEI RMT  allows remote management of several ACT terminals at the same time via network. One can quickly access ACT terminals from anywhere in the world and control/resolve issues remotely! The second advantageous feature is web-based configurator that enables accessing ACT-457A and modifying  the settings via web browser interface without any PC client application installed.
