AFL2-12A- the Allrounder- PC!

IPC2U presents the AFL2-12A Panel PC. There are two models of this Panel PC: AFL2-12A-HM65 and AFL2-12A-D525. The first one runs with high-powered Intel Core i7/i5/i3 Prozessoren of the 2. generation, the second one with a less powerful and at the same low power consuming Intel Atom Dual Core D525 1.8GHz CPU.

This Panel PC offers a great deal of features: the 12.1“ screen makes a positive distinction by its outstanding 600cd/m2 brightness as well as above-average contrast ration of 700:1. The user can choose between 5-wire resistive and protected capacitive touch screen. For example the capacitive touch screen offers touch accuracy of more than 98.5% as well as surface hardness of 7H (matches to hardness of quarz).

By its strong LED backlight pictures gain clearness and sharpness. The bezel is seamless and thus easy to clean. Furthermore, the AFL2-12A impresses with its excellent viewing angle of 176° (H)/ 176° (V), which is barely to find in the Panel PC market. An autodimming sensor provides good brightness adjustibility to environment light. Thus eyes become less tired und viewing is more comfortable. Furthermore, autodimming is energy-saving and extends life-time of the display.By preinstalled 1.3M webcam, built-in stereo speakers and a sensitive microphone this Panel PC is not only a computing tool but also a sound communication center.
For comfortable device handling the AFL2-12A is equipped with remote control by what audio-visual adjustments such as brightness, volume or dimming can be made.

Versatile interfaces, among them USB 3.0 and Gbit LAN, allow connection of peripherial devices to AFL. Moreover, a WLAN 802.11 b/g/n module with transmission speed up to 300mbps can be installed. A smart card reader as well as magnet stripe reader make the PC well-suitable for deployment in POS or access control. E: and Mifare Card reader are already onboard.
The Panel PC can not only be used for process control and visualization, but also as basic part of POS, gaming machines, information terminals or in busses. For these purposes the AFL2-12A is provided with increased shock and vibration resistance (according to the MIL-810F 514.5C-2 standard with SSD or CF card), front bezel IP64 rated protection as well as wide temperature range between -20°C and +60°C. Moreover, the AFL2-12A-D525 is fanless and thus less prone to error thanks to absence of mechanically moving parts. By its versatile mounting possibilites such as panel, wall, rack, stand and arm VESA 100 x 100 the Panel PC can be mounted in almost every environment.
