Axiomtek’s affordable compact computer eBOX640A based on 12th generation CPU

Axiomtek has introduced a new model in the eBOX640 product line.

eBOX640A is a fanless system designed for a wide range of applications including industrial and manufacturing environments.

eBOX640A has a 12th generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 or Celeron processor with TDP up to 35 W.

The chassis of eBOX640A is designed in silver color and made of aluminum alloy and steel, providing protection of internal components from dust and moisture according to IP40 standard.

The PC has two DDR4-3200/2666/2400 SO-DIMM RAM slots, allowing up to 64 GB of RAM. For data storage, it is possible to install a 2.5" SATA HDD and an M.2 Key B 2242 expansion slot.

The I/O system includes two Ethernet ports up to 2500Mbps, three RS-232 ports, one RS-232/422/485 port, two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two HDMI ports, and 8- channel digital input-output (DIO).

The front panel has the possibility of additional expansion to output two DB9 type connectors, thanks to which additional COM, DIO or CAN ports can be implemented.

In addition, the device has two connectors for an antenna, which allows it to be used in wireless networks.

eBOX640A operates from a 19 VDC power supply and is capable of operating over a wide temperature range from -10°C to +50°C.

It is also worth noting the presence of TPM 2.0 to improve data security and complies with CE, FCC Class A, UKCA standards.

Axiomtek’s new PC is compatible with Windows 10 IoT and Windows 11 IoT operating systems, as well as Linux.

Overall, eBOX640A is great for performing computing tasks of varying complexity.
